It’s finally here! Halo is probably the most gorgeous chill-out track we’ve created so far.
It all started with me jamming a fat bassline when inspiration struck my buddy Helidra. He picked up his guitar and layered stunning riffs with witty melodies. I thought some pads would complement it nicely, but instead, I borrowed Helidra’s epic guitar riffs and transformed them into ethereal textures using grain-table synthesis.
Of course, Helidra wasn’t about to let me have all the fun. To even the score, we ran my bassline through one of his legendary guitar sims, giving it a more gritty character. Just when I thought we were wrapping up, Helidra fired up his shredding rhythm guitar. This guitar wizard wasn’t done yet: he even threw in a solo for good measure!
We hope you enjoy this journey as much as we loved creating it.
